I JUST GOT MY CELLO! I have genuinely missed having it so much since I moved to Victoria. I always took it for granted when I had it in my room and could play it whenever and use it as an outlet to vent out whatever I was feeling. In the last sixish months I have found so many times where I am just so frustrated or stressed or overwhelmed and all I’ve wanted to be able to do is play to get it out, but I haven’t been able to. I just played it a few times and I am a bit rusty to say the least, but it just felt so good. My family friend brought the cello over but didn’t bring my music folder as well, so I have been finding the music I used to play on IMSLP. I don’t know if it’s illegal here, however, it’s free sheet music so you can’t beat it. I tried playing JC Bach concerto in C minor and Popper’s Polonaise de Concert and it is evident I am not back where I was back in March 2020. However, I know where I’m at and what I need to do to get there. Below I’ve atatched a PDF of the JC Bach concerto I’m working on playing. The piece is difficult for me because of how many shifts up and down the fingerboard it has, and the key signature of C minor meaning it has 3 flats in the signature.
